Sintered powder magnets are of very brittle structure. Therefore slight mechanical damage due to production is not always avoidable. But this has an insignificant effect on both mechanical and magnetic properties. During final inspection magnets and systems are submitted routinely to an optical surface control. Fine hair-line cracks as well as damages of up to two percent of the pole surface are acceptable in this inspection. Upon request of the customer limit samples can be provided.
Due to production techniques there may be minor powder and magnet particles adhering to the magnets.
If no special arrangements have been made the tolerances according to DIN 7168 T2 will apply
The magnetic values indicated in this site are binding, if no other values have been agreed upon in writing. The magnetic parameters are set according to DIN 17 410, measured at ground specimen according to DIN 50 470. Depending on shape and dimensions, deviations from our magnetic specifications are possible. If special applications require a 100% inspection, this has be agreed upon.
We attach great importance to non-polluting packing. For this reason we do not use non-returnable packings (blister) but despatch our magnets with cartons and intermediate linings. If a packaging in plastic tube or protected on metal plates should be necessary, please do not hesitate in requesting. We use a packaging which is ecological and also appropriated from the technological point of view.
