Gaussmeter

The device that measures the magnetic field is portable of 3 ½ digits used in laboratory electronic measurements. It's a strong construction in a duralumin body that guarantees great strength and isolation of external effects (radiation, temperature, humidity, etc.). Its shape makes it manageable and elegant thanks to its complete design, which combines polished edges with hight precision milling surfaces. The computer assisted numerical control is reflected in the 4002 GAUSSMETER design.

The device measures magnetic field incorporates a Hall effect detector of precision. The SX1 detector is the miniature precision type, placed over a flexible film with DuPont's Kapton base. The field measuring device includes in the integrated design of circuitry the most modern technologies. The LCD reading device of 3½ numbers includes the latest advances in electronic integration.

The measuring scale change and the maximum readout (HOLD) are both digital, and work by simply pressing. The reading system is not affected by the scale change, nor by the unlimited durability, because it is carried out by a discrete Fet's (field effect transistor). The BIAS adjustment (zero adjustment) is based on a 15 turn unit for a correct tuning of the device. The tuning will be made in each scale (Gauss or Tesla).

The 4002DC Gaussmeter is able to determine visually polarity (+-) thanks to two field control led's

In continued measuring and for reliability in the readout of the device a LOW BATT (low battery) control warns us to change batteries.

SX1. Precision Hall Sensor

The SX1 detector is the miniature precision type, based on the Hall effect and made in indium arsenide. Its most important advantages are: extreme linearity and output. The cell is mounted on Kapton DuPont’s film in order to achieve great flexibility and lecture handling speed. The thickness of the cell is of 0.025”, which allows readouts in very narrow magnetic fields (middle steels). The exterior protection elements with a machining and nickel brass tube like a methacrylate pencil and lid are characteristics of the SX1.

CS1 Gaussmeter Model

CS1 IMA Model is a portable instrument with SMD technology and analogical control of values. Its unique design make it one of the smallest levelling instruments in the market. It is made in a strong duralumin silver finishing by precision machining in computer-assisted numerical control. Two Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries of 4.8 volts and an optimised loading device in the magnetic field meter are supplied. The CS1 incorporates a panel meter of 3 ½ digits, with integrated technology, low battery control, and a fine zero-adjustment. The scales with a 1 Gauss resolution are between 0 and 2000G, up until 20kG (2T). It incorporates an SX 2 transversal gauge in Kapton film and thickness of 0.5mm; an extension cord for miniature gauge is optional.
