Circular Permanent Pick-up Electromagnets

An electromagnet is a device aimed at transforming electrical energy into mechanical energy. Direct current electromagnets are made with ferrous alloy and work at 24V. Its functioning is simple: when current is activated, a magnetic field is generated and is concentrated in the steel body, permitting any type of subjection. This kind of electromagnets are activated only when contact with the metallic piece is produced.

Circular Permanent Pick-up Electromagnets

A permanent electric electromagnet is a device aimed at transforming electrical energy into mechanical energy. Direct current electromagnets are produced in ferric alloys and operate at 24 V. Their functioning is very simple: their magnetic field is concentrated in iron armature, thus permitting any type of pick-up. When it is connected to the current, this magnetic field is eliminated, allowing the charge to release. When the tension increases, the magnet recovers its initial strength.

When working with suspended charges, the following safety rules must be followed.

They are designed for intensive functioning without an operating limit, and in permanent service. Their main attribute is great retaining strength with moderate consumption of current. IMA electromagnets are used in industrial robotics, for positioning parts, for maintaining fire-doors, for ventilation and for general safety.

The connector (1) has four orientation possibilities (4x90º)

The residual magnetism that persists during neutralisation of the magnets is approximately 2% of the retaining strength.

Rectangular Pick-up Electromagnets

This type of electromagnets are made with ferrous alloy and work at 24V DC. AC may be supplied by order. Its functioning is simple: when current is activated, a magnetic field is generated and is concentrated in the steel body, permitting any type of subjection.

This kind of electromagnets are activated only when contact with the metallic piece is produced.

Electrical connection is produced by a connector located in the extreme of the electromagnet (1) which has four possibilities of orientation (4X90º).

The inside face of the device has bolt holes (M-6 /M-8) for its joining.
