Magnet's Manufacturing Process

The manufacturing process of this type of magnetic material based on Rare Earth is quite complex. The raw material needed for its alloy has to be carefully mixed in vacuum. This is when the material’s particles join up according to the defined tolerances. Finally, it is sintered in special ovens, obtaining an extremely hard final product, which can only be worked on with electroerosion machinery, or with special machinery which include diamond tools. Cooling process are also used for its treatment. The magnetic materials made up of rare earth are Cobalt-Samarium and Neodymium. Neodymium and Cobalt-Samarium magnets may be used at low temperatures. Magnetic properties are found in the following pages in diagrams and charts.
